Alls Well That Ends Well

Photo shoots in general can be emotional roller-coasters (no joke). One minute things are going great, the next everything has gone completely wrong. During this shoot last week, I spent the entierty of the session thinking that my $1200 zoom lens had fallen out of the back of the truck and was being crushed to bits by 16-wheelers. My troubles aside, Connor Gaeta put down some incredible tricks on the pictured downrail. Somehow I was able to pull it together and get some of my best shots of the season.
After getting back home around 4 in the morning sans lens, I was a bit frazzled, and was planning on spending the rest of the night figuring out what I was going to tell the insurance company. 20 minutes later, Harrison Goldberg and Will Stevenson show up at my door, lens in tow. The only damage done was to the case, which had apparently froze to the ground. Needless to say I had no trouble falling asleep.
