Never before in my life have I been up so early on New Years Eve. It was for a good cause though, as getting up at 6 AM would allow us to get home before any festivities.
The weather during most of the day was cloudy, but as we pulled into our ‘home’ port of Elizabeth City the sun finally came out. I was able to get some great photos of my parents sitting on the front of the boat. Thank God for auto-pilot.
In two of the photos below, you can see the shoreline. Somewhere in there is the lot where my parents will be (eventually) building their new house. The last three photos are them actually standing on their lot.
